"Wonderful little place with delicious authentic Mexican food offerings. They make the our recipe Horchata that is superb. Wonderful dinners and kids meals too. Taking the time to try this gem would be far from disappointing. Their guacamole is pleasing to the tastebuds as well!"

"Food: 3/5 (solid good food!) Service: 5/5 (Kind and accommodating staff!) Atmosphere: 4/5 (neat and clean environment) Lunch at El Paraiso Taqueria was great! Located in South Haven, Michigan, I stopped to experience the tacos and burritos. Some may call this restaurant a hole-in-the-wall type setting, but nevertheless, the place is a small gem in the city. The price is moderate, but you get a small discount if you use cash. The food was solid. I've had a lot of tacos and burritos in my day. This restaurant got the basics down pack! The taste was authentic, and the chef made the plates neat. There was nothing special about the meal, but the flavors were there, and the meal was textbook. Can't argue with a great meal! The service was amazing! We were greeted by one of the kindest staff you can ask for. She took care of us and made sure to help us with the menu and how to order. The atmosphere was good. Although the restaurant was a little dated, the restaurant was clean and accommodating. This is a place to sit and eat and go back to work or home. El Paraiso was great! Solid food that you can always rely on!"

"We always enjoy finding local restaurants during our travels. El Paraiso Taqueria is a hidden gem. It doesn't look like much when you pull into the parking lot, but don't let that turn you off! The food is incredible. It's not your normal cookie cutter tex-mex meal. My husband ordered chicken enchiladas and I had the quesadilla meal w/shrimp. At first glance I thought they'd given me tacos instead - until I realized that they grilled a layer of cheese, filled that with shrimp, then put it into a tortilla with lettuce and tomatoes. My husband's enchiladas included a topping of lettuce, potatoes, and carrots. I also had a side of their "corn in a bowl". Not sure what was mixed in with the corn (maybe sour cream), but it was really good. Prices were extremely reasonable as well. Suggest you check it out if you are in the area near South Haven MI."

"Great food, great service, great value. My first time here, I called in my order for pick up. I ordered four tacos; lengua, asada, pollo, and pastor. The lengua was excellent, top notch flavor and texture. The steak was excellent, tender and flavorful. The chicken was a bit bland but it’s always my personal least favorite. The Al pastor was very good, great flavor. Added this spot to my list and WILL be back. I’ll update when I do. 2-3-23"

"Not super friendly but, not rude service. I ordered the three tacos meal and the tacos were delicious! Plenty of meat, cilantro, & onion. The rice was good! More authentic than most places I've been. Beans were equally good! The only downside, no Margarita's! But still well worth the visit!"
