"It was not very busy on a Thursday night so we were immediately seated. Our server Nancy was spectacular and took great care of us all night. She is very thoughtful and I can tell she really thinks ahead about what her diners will need or want. Crab cake appetizer was tasty. My New York strip was cooked exactly the way I wanted and was delicious! I got the loaded baked potato which was also very good. Husband got loaded mac and cheese and was reluctant to share a bite! It was very good! We don’t usually order desserts, but went for the cannoli cheesecake and loved it. We will be back soon!"

"We got married in Ludington in early October of this year, and we contacted Timbers Prime to cater our small event. Communication via email was very smooth with Ryan, and he was even willing to make a few changes to the menu for a few family members’ health concerns. Now the food… all of our family said it was “the best wedding food they’ve ever had” and we completely agree. They delivered the food which was super convenient, and it was still piping hot when it arrived. The steaks were like butter, and the sides and appetizers were all flavorful and amazing. We could not have asked for a better meal on our big day. We have not eaten at the restaurant itself yet, but will definitely stop in next time we are in town. 10/10 would recommend for catering. "Decided to stop in for dinner last Friday night, for our fall color tour weekend. I started out ordering the pumpkin bisque, which was very delicious. For my entree I ordered the Apple bourbon glazed pork chop and garlic mashed potatoes, which was small but looked amazing. First bite was delicious. The remaining pork was fatty and mushy, which left it uneatable and the mashed potatoes were cold. I showed the waitress and she took 25% off my bill. My conversation with her included that it was uneatable, in which she agreed. This was a horrible cut of meat and can’t believe it left the kitchen. She then took another 25% off. A whopping 50% off for a dinner that I took one bite of. I won’t be back! That is a sign of a struggling business and poor leadership. The owner wouldn’t even come out to have a conversation with me. Thumbs down for me!"

"Ludington is a small port town on the east side of Lake Michigan and like most small towns restaurants are generally fast food and far between. Timbers Prime being the exception. Service was exceptional, our waitress, Julie, checked back frequently and went out of her way to be sure things were good. Food was also excellent. Not being terribly crowded and quiet was also a plus. Looking forward to a repeat performance!!"

"Wow! My wife and I ate here for the first time on our honeymoon and it’s our new favorite place in Ludington. We got there right at 5, got seated, and ordered garlic knots and salad. We didn’t know there was complimentary bread, so we got even more than we needed and took the garlic knots back to our bed and breakfast for a nighttime snack. For our entrees, we ordered steak and lobster tails. Everything was hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. My wife said the steak is the best she’s ever had, and she’s picky! There was someone coming to top off our water every time it got low and servers were helping each other clear off our plates as we finished. We recommend this restaurant to anyone wondering if they should try it!"
