"It was okay. We have what we call saganos in Flint and it is definitely no saganos. The soup was basically watery broth like it had barely any flavor and there were no noodles or anything in it. It had a few mushrooms in it and had some rotten shriveled up onions in the bottom of it which was not very tasty The food itself was okay again, not as great. I will say the steaks were bigger than the steaks we have here at sagano they're about double the size so that's good One thing I will say if you don't want rice and you want noodles you have to specify and pay extra. We did not know that we were not told that so did not know that there was an option for noodles and not rice I was aggravated pretty bad. I was sitting at a table and the chef wanted to do a sake spray into my mouth and sprayed my entire face and shirt with this stuff because you wouldn't stop spraying when I told him to stop I was wearing a very expensive, very nice shirt and this guy sprayed it all over the place with sugar water basically and laughed about it and I'm sitting there pissed off. I use a walker to get around. I had to get up, get my walker and Ended up having to go to the bathroom and basically give myself a bath and the sink. because I was sticky and covered and whatever this liquid was it was not sake. I know that it was like simple syrup He also shoved the bottle into my wife's face multiple times when she said no. Trying to make her do it too and she did not want to I told the chef at least three times with my hands to stop spraying that liquid and he did not stop Our waitress was also Very forgetful and she just did not know what was going on. I don't know what was her deal but it took forever to get our drinks. She kept stumbling over herself and forgetting stuff. When I asked for extra ginger sauce at the end of the meal she brought extra yum yum sauce instead She acted very twitchy and very high strung But we also had a couple drinks made and I had an old fashioned that was nowhere near an old fashioned. It was basically and really watered down whiskey with some orange peels thrown in it. It wasn't even brown. It was orange and clear again. Very very watered down whiskey and whoever made it did not mix any kind of cherry or cherry juice or anything in with it. So it was just nasty for $11 I was not happy My wife got a mojito and it was 99% soda water and when she finally got down to the very bottom of the glass she found some liquor. She said again for $11 I'm not very happy That picture is of what was supposed to be an old fashioned and again it was absolutely awful"

"I’ve been coming here and getting regular take out and I can honesty this is the best around! The quality is just as great when you get take out no matter what it is, and if you dine in and do the Hibachi, oh my gosh. How awesome!! I just went with my father and my 8 year old and all of us had excellent food, our server was great, and the man that cooked our hibachi made it an entire experience! Especially for my daughter, he went out of his way to make her experience special. He was also very kind and made sure she was comfortable whenever there was fire. I cannot say enough great things about this place. You just have to try it for yourself. Even if you just order take out, you will not be disappointed with the food or the spectacular service. 10/10 will recommend!!"

"I've been here a couple of times. Took the family this last time. Great service, and as always, Chen, our chef, was great. We had him the very first time and was blessed to have him as our chef again this last time. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. We will definitely be going back again. I even told the husband we are going here for our anniversary dinner again, and maybe we will get lucky and get Chen again as our chef"
