"I had read so many good reviews so I was looking forward to trying this place. Overall our meal was disappointing. We love fried rice but this rice was just not good. Chicken egg rolls were decent - the wraps weren't thin which we liked and they were cooked well and crispy, but the inside ingredients were very plain. The teriyaki chicken was one of the best items we ordered and it was still mediocre. The orange chicken was really disappointing. The spiciness wasn't the issue, it was that the chicken tasted cheap and was chewy. Not worth what we paid."

"I agree that this place has low ratings for no reason. I drive 45 mins to get this! It's fresh and delicious, and not greasy like other places in town. Not sure why low ratings for service.. Young man at front is always happy and helpful and phone orders are easy.. I asked tons of questions and made special requests with no language barrier. It's drive thru pick up only, which is kinda nice, don't even have to get out of car. Try them!!"

"It has unfortunately been years since I've been to Traverse City but I still miss the food here sometimes and I have lived all over the country. I especially enjoyed the sesame tofu which I would get once a week."

"Idk why this place has low reviews. It's by far the best takeout Chinese in the pinky of the mitten. The food has always been made hot and fresh for me. The only thing around that one could of said was better was the sesame chicken at the mall but they went and screwed that up now. I hope China lee never changes and the next generation keeps the place going."

"Sick within a couple hours of eating here, unfortunately. Very nice staff, but the food you get never looks like what you ordered,. To the point that you're not even sure what it is, and now I'm paying the price. Will not eat here again. Should have just driven ten min further into TC, to avoid. Don't make the same mistake I did."
