"Northern Michigan is wonderful in so many ways. It has the corner on sun, fun, and beautiful scenery. Our only complaint has always been lack of great food. Bella Vita is a standout and definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. We all had seafood dishes and everyone was happy. Nice atmosphere and all of the art is for sale so it makes it fun to check it out. Service is good, not great, but I think anyone who has spent time in the area knows the challenges these restaurants (and all businesses) face in finding such a huge amount of seasonal help. The staff was trying and it was appreciated but don't expect fine dining service to be totally ironed out."
"One of the best dining experience I have ever had. The food was great and the service was top notch. Parking was a bit of a problem but that was only because it was so busy. The help was so good we never had to wait for anything, but never felt rushed."
