"Rare that I find myself writing a bad review. This one is based on customer service. I know Jack's does not routinely bag groceries and truth is I am a terrible bagger. Regardless I do it. Twice in the past 6 months I have asked for assistance with bagging. Neither time did i get the assistance requested. This was in no fault on the part of the checker as I heard her request assistance. Alas, no one came. Had the store been particularly busy I certainly could have understood but it wasn't. This was my last visit to Jack's. If you are at all interested in more detail I would be happy to provide."
"Clean, great selection. Excellent meat department. Love the sausage. Prices are high compared to Ohio. But given the rural location they are fair. Best place to shop in the U.P."
"Good place to buy meat. Different deals every week. Everyday items seem to be a little high in price to me. Has a huge attached liquor store that is also considerably overpriced on several items I found. Overall I found it to be a good store, but could only can give it a 3-star rating because of the general prices."
