I was out of my medication for almost four days because they got the script but didn’t fill it til I called then showed up and it still wasn’t filled. This has to be one of the worst pharmacies"

"I recently had a very concerning experience at this location. I walked up to the prescription pick up window inside the store and before I could say anything, the pharmacist informed me that their system was down and they weren’t able to give people their medications. I was shocked, and I asked at what point the system might be back up and she said she didn’t know, they had been down for about an hour and a half already. She made it seem like she didn’t expect the system to come back on that day. I became increasingly concerned because I ran out of pills and was expecting to be able to pick them up for that night. I told her this, and she told me very rudely she was sorry there was nothing she could do, and I could try to come back at 8 before they closed (it was about 7 at the time). I left completely upset and bewildered that I couldn’t get my medication. Beyond that, I’m more surprised the pharmacist did nothing to help me! To be fair, the medication I take isn’t as urgent as others, but I was never asked what medication I was taking. I wasn’t instructed what to do in case I needed to get my medication immediately. I could tell she was annoyed that I was upset and I was repeatedly told there was nothing they could do. They seemed more concerned with going home on time at 8 than getting their customers the medications they depend on. I’m extremely disappointed. I truly expected more sympathy from a medical professional in a situation such as this and I was treated like I was being a pushy customer instead of a worried patient. I shop at Giant Eagle all the time for groceries and have had extremely positive experiences with everyone else I have come into contact with. I can say I will be looking for a new pharmacy, and specifically a new pharmacist."

"Absolutely the best staff. Chirag (spelling?) and Laura have always been amazing. The last 3 years have been rough on some of the supplies I've needed for medication. These two have never let me down. Keep taking good care of the staff or whatever keeps these two around."
