"We took a drive from Kentucky just for this greenhouse and we were not disappointed! Such great varieties and fantastic staff that answered all of our questions. We will back!"
"I went there during my lunch break hoping to see if they had any Hoyas for my house. They didn’t have the Hoyas but the folks working there were very nice. They had a good selection of very healthy looking perennials and annuals as well as herbs and veggies. If you are looking to beautify your garden or cultivate a veggie and herb patch in your back yard I would definitely recommend supporting this cute little mom and pop greenhouse."
"Bought several herbs, vegetable plants, cannas and the owner picked out two tomato plants for me. One of the tomato plants is thriving, but the other is dying. When I went back to ask for help or replacement of the one dying, she said it looks like it got dried out. Both plants planted the same time in the same potting mix in the same size pots. We left and won't be back. It's a shame because we really like to support our local businesses. I am editing my original post to further add to what you left out: 1. You failed to mention that I needed three scalora baskets, and you only had two available. 2. I informed you that I planted BOTH tomato plants the same day that I purchased them. As a matter of fact, I planted the dead one first because I only had one pot large enough. While I was planting everything that I purchased from you, my husband went to Home Depot and purchased an additional pot. EVERYTHING I purchased was planted the same day. It is not uncommon for plants to take a few days to acclimate to being replanted. I purchased the plants on June 6, took the pictures on June 13, and came back to talk to you on June 16. Although I have never grown vegetables, I have many years of experience growing tropical plants, and various flowers and plants and herbs. 3. I was never aggressive, rude or unfriendly with you. I even told you a joke in an attempt to "Break the Ice." I did tell you that I was not coming back as I left. I was there for no more than five minutes, and when you said, "It looks like it dried out (dead tomato plant), I don't know what to tell you.", it was clear that you had no intention to help me. And, yes, Home Depot, Lohmillers, Lowe's, even Kroger would have replaced the plant in the seven days it took for the plant to die, as that's what good business people do. 3. Both times we spoke, I felt that you were not happy that you had to stop what you were doing to assist me with your cold and unfriendly attitude. Awkward! Perhaps that is why I was the only customer there at both visits. I had visited and purchased many plants over the years from the previous owners, and had always felt comfortable and welcome. I had never had a negative experience there before. Pretty sure your response reinforces my point here. I will continue to support our fine, local businesses, as we have done for thirty years."
"Went with a Girl Scout Troop. We learned about Herbs and made our own herb gardens to take home."
