"I came in looking for help in deciding what to plant in my front north facing (very shaded) bed. Brenda sat down with me for over an hour while we digitally planned the whole area. She was able to drop images of the recommended plants onto a photo of my house! I was thrilled to find I had more options for shade than I was expecting. Brenda is incredibly knowledgeable and helped me select plants that work great for the space. The staff, including a very nice man named Daniel, pulled the plants I picked out. I was very happy with what was pulled, and they even helped me meticulously pack my SUV (including plastic to lay down!). The plants were slightly higher priced than what I have seen around, but certainly fair. When you take into account the staff’s expertise, time, assistance, and my high quality plants, the prices were well worth it! I planted when I got home and my garden looks better than I could have hoped! It looks established from day one, but I can’t wait to see how things grow in as time goes on. "I have done business with Brenda for over fifteen years now. I built a new home and had them plant several trees. I set up the beds had plenty of extra topsoil and the planted them. The 3 9-foot pines all died, one last year. I asked her for a new pine with a couple of other trees. She charged me full price and when I asked if she could do better on the pine price that died, she agreed. Then they brought me the ugliest one they had and planted it. It as well as the other 2 died. The 3 14-foot maples they brought me have leaves that stay orange throughout the summer? Ultimately I have to replace the pines and live with orange trees. Also when they planted the maples, she asked if they good bring a tractor with an auger to save her guys time, I said that's fine. Little did I know that saving them time it would cost me more money. Never going back."

"Spring Lake Nursery moved to 3478 North Ridge Rd, US-20 as of April 2020, took over the old Martin Nursery property. Nice knowledgeable folks, large variety including many shrubs and trees. We bought 4 large shrubs a week ago, they show no sign of stress. They are open 7 days, while most of the other area nurseries are closed on weekends, and many are wholesale only.
