"You better just set 30 minutes aside slowest post office I've ever been to. 9+ people in line yet only 1 person helping."

"The worst Post Office I've ever been to...by a wide margin. How does a city the size of Mentor have a Post Office this inept and incompetent? Simple tasks that other Post Offices handle with ease, are a chore at this one. Rarely have more than one clerk working the desk, in a city with 47,000+ people in it! And when you finally do get to the counter after waiting, the clerks are rude, condescending, and unhelpful. They've made multiple mistakes on packages I've sent for my eBay business...and I've only been going there for a 5-6 weeks! Luckily, I caught most before I left...but I missed one of their screwups - and it cost me a $75 refund and the item I sold is now lost forever. The lobby where you walk in is constantly dirty and unorganized. In the 5 or 6 weeks I've been going there (almost daily), they have had NO BOXES for Priority Mail. Just a couple flat rate boxes. When I tried to use a Flat Rate box for a Priority shipment, they gave me a hard time. After having to plead my case, the one manager allowed me to use the box, but acted like he was doing me a favor. Ummm...when I pay for Priority, I'm allowed to use free boxes and tape. They haven't had boxes here for 5 or 6 weeks...and just asking for Priority tape is a chore. One day they simply refused to give me some, and just shrugged their shoulders, "We don't know where it is..." is the answer I got. On my last visit, there was a line of two dozen people and one clerk! Someone from the back came out and tried to push some in line to the "self-checkout" kiosk like it was a Taco Bell or McDonald's. I dread going to the Mentor Post Office and their incompetence has cost my business money. After this last screwup, I'm not going back. I'm ordering boxes to my house from USPS and I'll drive the extra miles to Willoughby or Painesville to save myself from this horrible experience."

"The name of this supervisor is Adriana. Unintelligent, unprofessional, unhelpful, arrogant, disrespectful. Complete lack of social skills. On top of it, she is probably the rudest person I have ever dealt with. With all these qualities, she doesn’t do much good to the reputation of this post office; certainly doesn’t deserve this job. I don’t think she is even intelligent enough to realize that she has a good job and everything else that comes with it because of us, customers. However, the Postmaster named Norm, was very helpful, courteous and did apologize for the rudeness of the supervisor. I believe he will take care of the ongoing delivery problem we have been having for 5 months. I would give him 5 stars but -5 to this supervisor if I could."

"Resided in Mentor over 30 years, and within that time, I've stood in the postal lines a LOT! There always was someone who stood a for a "very long wait in line in front of me" and needed extra instruction from the postal representative behind the cash register to instruct them on what form to use. These customers have always been respected to stand off to the side and resume back to the front to complete the shipping transaction. Not today! Today, i stood in line for 40 minutes. I was nervous as i never returned a package to Canada. The postal man's insecurities and shaming attitude towards me were cruel. He shook his head back and forth as to say no. He was gloomy and depressing. I was imposing to him. I never met anyone so lacky the ability to help me at this location prior to today. I had the To and From address adhered to the package. It was clear and concise. He said, "Oh, this is going to cost you a LOT of money. I asked, about how much? Maybe about $50. Sure, I expected that. He said, maybe more. I replied, okay! When i asked for another form because i had to rewtite, he pretended not to hear me. After a couple other customers serviced, i asked again. To his dismay he grudgingly handed another form to me. I HE completely ignored me when i was ready to pay for the package. The line had grown, and he expected me to get in the end. I know he lacked the skill and brain power to process my package. He was cruel, unprofessional, unaccomadating, depressing, and had a shaming pathetic PR attitude. I will never return to US Postal ever again unless it is absolutely necessary, but it will NOT be at the Mentor location. You cannot even leave a message on the phone."

"Workers are ALL very rude. I understand it's the holidays and they're busy and short staffed but they do not need to yell at people at the counter or insinuate that people are stupid with their rude remarks. They answer questions in a condescending way and get mean when you don't understand what they're saying. Darrell (I believe his name was), was extremely rude to not only myself, but he yelled at another grown man for absolutely no reason. Worst post office around this area. Just go to UPS or anywhere else to ship things. Wish I could give zero stars."
