Had to slow down a little due to traffic slowing and he rode me so close, that I couldn’t even see the freight liner symbol on the grille. When he finally passed he gave me a death stare like I done something wrong. No vehicle that large should be moving at that speed!"

"I’ve been working for and with Dave Mayfield and his team for many years now. It’s more than a job, it’s family! There are numerous things I love about working for Dave and the Mayfield Express team. First and foremost is love, respect, honor, integrity and trust. The “golden rule” always applies! "As the owner I fill that we havent been around 28 years because we have been a bad company. We have had some bad reviews by people that was termintated for many reasons. The one driver did over 10k of damage to one of our trucks and left us a bad review. The other driver that talks about duct tape hasn't worked for us for over two years and posted on Facebook about selling drug and the carrier we was leased to put it on his Dat report not us. Two Sides to ever story."

"This dude's trucks are pure garbage as well as himself. Like little kid he'll ignore, ban if you tell something he doesn't like lol he'll push you to lease at least a year contract on less than market prices, you pay diesel, insurance, tolls and whatever lol will lease you taped together truck(for real with clear office tape all over broken interior parts and pieces like its not even there) lol"

"Look. All I know is that this guy (David Mayfield) has treated me and my wife with the utmost respect. Yes the truck we were initially given to drive was a little older but it was well kept up and if anything went wrong he fixed it asap. Not only did he fix the truck he put us up in a hotel while it was being worked on. We have been with David for a little over a year now and he has put us in a newer truck with a larger sleeper. David is also working on updating his fleet. For those of you giving the bad reviews. I have seen the condition of the trucks after you left. You guys are/were nasty. You get out of a relationship exactly what you put in. And I bet you put in trash just like you left the truck. So what did you expect."
