"Sermons are biblically weak typical 3 or 4 versus. Coupled with a life lesson. No Bible version is consistently used. Like NIV, or KJV. What ever best fits the theme of the lesson is used. Lot of nice friendly people."

"I went to this church for years. I was dedicated to it and all it has been through. When I brought concerns to leadership about how I felt, instead of being met with kindness, my feelings were not validated and instead my character was attacked. I saw hypocrisy behind closed doors which validated how I have felt for many months. It’s unfortunate that the church chose to leave me, but I do not and will not support a church with hypocrisy from leadership!"

"Was a wonderful church until the new pastor took over. He talks the talk, but doesn’t walk the walk. Just told two children they cannot Play in the basketball program anymore because they are the former Pastor’s grandsons. Love God, Love People? Practice what you preach Pastor Swearingen!"

"My family just started attending this church and we were made to feel right at home despite getting the time wrong and being late. My son is autistic and it is often hard to keep his attention. Yet he had a great time learning in Sunday school and said he can't wait to go back. He even told me all about what they learned! That says a lot. They also played a game which he was very excited about. They have a wonderful teen program as well. The teen program even does a missions trip to skid row in the summer. In the main sanctuary, we were led during the first half by a very talented group of individuals to upbeat, spirit-lifting songs. Words to the songs were put on screens in the front of the sanctuary to follow along with, large enough that my husband didn't even need glasses. The message followed and was truly touching and obviously well thought out and meaningful. It is a great place for Christians to worship and fellowship. We will definitely be back and have chosen this as our new church home. They even came to our house the next day and gave us a welcome bag with homemade bread, a very nice church coffee mug, a chip clip and other goodies including a handwritten note. After services, they serve coffee and donuts. Many people came up to my husband, my son and I and introduced themselves and made us feel very welcome. The church often holds extracurricular activities such as Jesus and Santa, which is how we found the church. I am very impressed with this church. It lines up perfectly with my Christian beliefs as well. These are truly godly folks and I am excited to join them!"
