"I went to the carter lumber in Ravenna Ohio today. I needed to replace the light switch in my kitchen. I walked in 2 employees were behind the counter, one was checking someone out the other was trying to look invisible. I walked up and asked the invisible one where the light switches were. He pointed to them. I realized quickly that I was not sure what I needed. There were several kinds and I was not sure what was just a basic one. I stood there in a store without any customers in view of the two guys behind the counter for several minutes. They never asked me if I needed help and made it very clear that they did not want me to ask for help. As I walked out neither one said a word….. This store is less than 3 miles from my house. I have been there very few times in the last 20 years. It is alway the same. They are alway unfriendly. I will drive 14 miles to Lowe’s rather than go there. I know that they are not missing my money but if just one person passes them up to go to Lowe’s I will be happy."

"Although I generally like to shop at Carter's because of the quality of lumber, the employees in the Ravenna location are about the rudest bunch I've ever had to deal with. They don't even acknowledge you when you go in the store. And if you ask for help, they appear put out that you are bothering them. Not a one time occurrence."
