Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

"I went to this store to purchase paint. I asked for the cheapest exterior they had (a100) for a little project I didn’t need anything fancy for. When I walked out I looked at the receipt and found they gave me the most expensive paint, I walked back in and asked why they did this and if they could just give me what I asked for. I then was argued w by two managers and an employee, berated and told I didn’t know what I was talking about and that they knew what I needed for about 15 minutes. I finally said “I’m not going to be argued with, I was very specific about having the cheapest paint can you just exchange this?”. I was then told how stupid I was again. That I was an arrogant a$$hole. I was told I am a pos and should never come back to this store. Mind you again I was just asking to get the cheap paint I originally asked for … As a local business owner and pillar in the community I am appalled by the behavior of these employees. I have been using Sherwin Williams for 20 years and usually avoid this store and go to the one on walker road in Avon. I will continue to go there but truly disgusts me the way these ppl feel they can treat someone. Guess it’s aggravating when someone catches you trying to pull the wool over their eyes, so I deserved to be called names …"

"Be careful about what you buy. Sherwin Williams has superior paint. This particular store sold me a handheld sprayer with the assurance of a satisfaction guarantee. When the sprayer stopped working within a year (a product flaw), they directed me to their store in Strongsville where they charged me almost $100 to repair it. It only worked for one project, then stopped working again. One of our local stores apologized profusely, offered me incentives to keep coming to Sherwin Williams, and restored my faith in the company. However, I called this location for nearly three months, speaking with multiple people, without a semblance of such customer care. Stay away."
