"I had a glass door on an apt building that literally came apart. The bottom came loose and the glass slid down - a miracle that the glass didn't break. They came out the next business day and fixed it. Looks better and closes better than it ever did! Thank you to Melissa and the whole team there - I appreciate your help more than you know."

"Had them install a storm picture window. Just put up the tempered glass in an existing frame. Was $320 for 45 min of work? The guys who did the work were great but $80/hr each for 1 semi skilled and 1 unskilled laborer. I was robbed."

"I needed some plexiglass cut to fit a sunroof. We paid in advance and was treated with respect by the service man. We were told they would have it completed the next business day and would call to let us know to pick it up. It's been 5 business days and no phone calls. I guess if we were an million dollar business we would be treated better. But it doesn't seem their workshop small jobs matters to them. Would like to know if they would even care to read this and what they'll do about this so no one else has the same issue."

"In July of 2014, my car's windshield was struck and cracked by a rock-throwing semi tractor trailer. I was recommended by my insurance company to visit Hemm's Glass in Piqua, Ohio to have a new one installed. Unfortunately, this long-standing, local business let me down with their long work times, low quality work, and poor customer service. I made an appointment with Hemm's Glass and made arrangements with a friend to drop off and pick up the car for me while I traveled out of town. After returning from my trip, I had an opportunity to inspect the car and Hemm's work. I was disappointed with what I found. I found that my windshield wiper sprayers were not connected, parts were missing, paint was scratched and chipped, interior trim did not fit, interior trim was damaged, and numerous spots of black glue were found on the paint around the windshield. I was leaving the next day for another trip and was not able to contact Hemm's for an explanation. On my trip home, I was traveling on a Canadian highway at 60 MPH in a rainstorm when all of a sudden my wiper arms crossed and stopped working. Luckily enough, I was able to pull over the the side of the road safely. I found that both nuts that fasten the wiper arms to the mechanism were over a full turn out. One can imagine my displeasure... After returning home, I visited the shop and spoke with a manager. He agreed to get the car in the next day to correct the issues with the car. After having the car almost the entire day, I called to check progress. I was told that the car had been ready, but they were waiting to call me. When I arrived to pick up the car, the paint was still scratched, chipped, and the damaged interior trim was untouched. I told the manager I was still unhappy with my experience and the shop's work and I wanted a refund to fix my damaged vehicle. He told me that he would speak with the owner, Mr. Hemm, check company policy and get back with me. Two days later, I receive a call from the manager. I was told that they felt that the job was completed, my situation had been rectified and I was not to receive any kind of compensation. A sign in their work area states: Remember It's Safety, Quality, & Quantity In That Order..... I feel that my experience was the complete opposite of this mission statement. So. Long story short. If you intend on using this company, be cautious and be sure to inspect their work."
