"I communicated with the Joshua Neal (owner/horologist) prior to taking my watch to Best Time Watch Repair Company. I own a Seiko SKX173 *Diver* Watch that I had worn through two Army combat deployments. He assured me that he could service my dive watch and replace the hardlex crystal. After what seemed months I received my watch back. I do not dive with my watch, but it does get wet in the sink, shower, etc. Upon the first contact with water there appeared a mist in inside the crystal. Water seeped into the watch case through the crystal. I brought this up to their attention, and Joshua will now only send messages to me through employees. They admitted that the watch had NOT been pressure tested. They insisted that "all protocols had been followed" in spite of assurances in email communications that they could service a *diver* watch. As a further example of their unwillingness to stand behind their work, they refused to work on the watch even if I paid them to do so. To add insult to injury, it was months before they called me back with their assessment of why the watch seals failed (they had not pressure tested it). They then informed my that the water had stained my dial. I would advise potential customers to avoid this business. P.S. I just received my watch back from Best Time Watch Repair after many months. Compare with the before image."

"Dishonest, rude, constantly late, and make promises he can't keep. This man kept our grandfather clock parts for over 6 months with claims that he was too busy to simply repair and return. He should not accept work he cannot manage. In addition, after reinstalling, the clock immediately broke again and he claimed he needed to take it back once again with no idea of when it could be returned. After we asked him to leave, he boasted about how much money he makes from his customers. Good luck to anyone who tried to work with this dishonest company."
