Maritime Museum of Sandusky

"The experience wasn’t good. The two men at the front desk didn’t say hi, they didn’t give us any introduction or told us about what the museum had to offer. The thing is that other group behind us received the introduction and instructions. (We were almost together)… the worst thing is that we said hello and they didn’t. reply anything. When we end up the tour, there was a women at the end and she was really kind with us. But the other two were really disrespectful."

"Really cool museum full of great exhibits! I would recommend a visit if you are in the Sandusky area. A family pass is only $19 and it goes to a great cause! Has a little of something for everyone and its "hands on" for the kids!"

"Admission prices are a bargain, for what you get to see. Interactive displays and interactive workstations for kids as well. We were there for the presentation & demonstration of the Sandusky Coal Docks scale model. Much info on Sandusky role in maritime history, but plenty info on Great Lakes boating, shipping, warfare, ship building, ice harvesting and fishing. Staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. 3 buildings of things to look at and learn about. Very family oriented place to go, even on a limited budget."
