"I hadn’t been to a dentist in years, because life happens. Anyway, without any warning one night my tooth broke while having some chips & salsa. I was in a panic (as I had never even had a cavity in my life- so I was also absolutely mortified). The next morning, I called Solon Smiles and they got me in that morning (keep in mind, I had never been there before- so I was not an established patient and didn’t have dental insurance). Dr. Friedman and her assistant, Laura, and the rest of the staff were all completely empathetic and treated me with such dignity and kindness, I was immediately impressed. Turned out that I needed a root canal and crown. I was so scared about getting this done- as I’ve never had any dental work other than routine cleanings done before. Dr. Friedman and Laura were very patient and kind through the whole process. I had dreaded the root canal after all of the horror stories I’ve heard throughout the years, but the most uncomfortable part was being numbed for the first time ever- but nothing hurt and there was minimal discomfort the morning after- but not enough to even bother taking an Advil. They did such a great job and Dr. Friedman is officially my favorite dentist that I’ve ever had."

"The only reason I'm rating Solon Smiles a 5 is because of my Dentist. She is an absolutely terrific person and Doctor. The 19 year old disrespectful young lady working at the front desk will need spoken to re: patient interaction. She needs coaching up on exchanging with a diverse, multi cultural, mixed demographic patient population base. Other than that, my oral treatment, and the follow-up instructions provided by Doc and the new dental assistant was exceptional."
