"Worst experience of my life. Outrageous prices for upscale hood. There’s constantly trash all over the place there’s a lady who lets her dog bark non stop all hours of the day and night. Then they got a second dog and it barked just the same. Also my upstairs neighbor was smoking on their porch and got cigarette ashes all over my babies toys. People would smoke weed in their cars and it would stink up the whole parking lot and buildings in the area. People don’t clean up after their pets. Most expensive apartments in the area. Pool is rarely ever usable. “Pool side grill” never had gas and always needed maintenance. Your front door looked like it was kicked in before we moved in as the metal part inside the door frame kept falling off bc the wood was splitting and this meant the door wouldn’t stay latched. Maintenance wouldn’t address the issue beyond putting in new screws and drilling a bigger hole. Also had multiple packages stolen from the leasing office where they route all mail. The mold that grew in the “utility room” was disgusting and was one of the few issues we had. *Edit I am not moving to another place and have asked Avalon oaks for documentation that we have paid our account balance and they won’t give me a statement or receipt"

"By far the worst apartment complex and leasing office I have ever dealt with. The ‘amenities’ are a joke the pool is open maybe two weeks all summer and usually looks disgusting. The trash cans are usually overflowing with trash. Pet waste everywhere in the grass areas. Haven’t had a working dish washer in over a year. First month in, our sprinkler system in our bedroom started dripping greenish brown water down the wall. Our heat and air conditioning went out almost every season for four years. It took weeks to fix each time. Was told last year that it was a brand new unit, that was a lie because we got a brand new unit finally this year and they let it slip they had to order a new one, that’s why we were without air conditioning in the middle of July for two weeks on the third floor. Bought a home and ended our lease early that in itself at this place was a nightmare as communication is very lacking. Please get everything in writing and itemized receipts on everything, read every line to your lease do not take the offices word on anything! So happy to be done with this place! The amount of money they are asking for this ‘luxury’ apartment is not worth it. There are so many nicer safer places than avalon oaks."
