Sheldon Park Apartments

"I wouldn’t take any of the reviews giving 5 stars because the application process went well into consideration while making a decision to move here. They may be helpful while trying to convince you to sign a lease, but once you sign, the rest of the experience of living here is pretty trashy. A lot of the workers here are unpleasant and rather lazy. Mosy of the “amenities” are only available half the time, so don’t get too excited about things like heated pool or free coffee, because it’s honestly rarely the case.. Your car will get broken into (our tires were slit, our windows were broken out, along with multiple people we knew). Your packages will get stolen. Nothing will be done about it. Last summer I swear the police were in the apartment complex every other day because of residential issues (drugs, animal abuse, people screaming at the top of their lungs for hours at 2am, etc). It's very unsafe. They let anyone lease here, so it gets very sketchy. We paid for a garage for 2 years for our extra storage and one day they put letters on the garages saying if you don’t send in an email claiming your garage in the next week they will come and throw all your belongings from the garage — so because they didn’t keep adequate records of who’s garage is who's, they are threatening to steal and trash all our belongings within the week, though I’ve paid over $2,000 total for that garage… The apartments themselves are nice, despite walls being paper thin, but management is extremely poor. They also messed up our move out date and claimed we owed money, sent us to collections and it was a solid six months of us fighting back and forth to get it all figured out so our credit scores didn't get messed up, all to show they actually over charged us and had to refund thousands of dollars - so they were in the wrong the entire time, but we had months and months of phone calls to fix it. It was absolutely terrible and very stressful."

"Current Leasing office staff, very nice/professional. Minimal wait after the tour's start time. Loved most of what the model unit had, follow up visit scheduled to tour the actual type of unit I want, the 720SF 1 bedroom model. Afterwards I did review some not so nice tenant reviews, but no show stoppers just yet!"

"Moving in here was really a breath of fresh air, as other complexes and management I’ve dealt with have not been like this! When i first moved in the women in management were super sweet, and they’ve been responsive (however i haven’t really had to contact them much other then when first moving in) As far as the apartment goes, it lived up to my expectations fully. The appliances are all very updated & all stainless steel, cabinets have a ton of room & shelving. My sink and countertops make the entire front room stunning along with the natural light from all the windows! Even with it being very modern, it feels cozy and definitely like a home. The neighbors are also pretty friendly! I met a majority of the ones I know within the first few days of moving in. Valet trash is always on time. Some people do leave their empty bins out longer than they’re supposed to but it hasn’t smelled at all yet so it hasn’t bothered me personally. I haven’t been here in summer for the pool yet, but looking forward to it! The only thing I could add is there were a few spots of food left on the sides of the oven and a few other minor things cleaners missed, but nothing that took more than a quick cleaning. Imo that is normal for any apartment as they usually clean what shows most to the eye. To finish my long review but honest one, I love this place and am so glad I chose it after the 7+ places toured. :)"

"If I could give a zero, I would. This apartment seems nice in the pictures, but the walls are paper thin, neighbors are incredibly noisy and inconsiderate. . Every night kids are running around screaming at the top of their lungs until around 10:00 pm, no matter how cold, dogs bark constantly throughout the day and neighbors play loud music with a lot of bass that shakes our apartment. Management apparently "doesn't deal with noise complaints". All in all, you pay an arm and a leg for a noisy apartment that you end up wanting to leave most of the time to get any peace or quiet. Waiting on the response of “please contact us for any further help on this” but they don’t do anything. There are PLENTY of better apartments in the area and I highly recommend you looking at those."

"One of the best place to live. I am living in this area since 3+ years and none if the apt. can compete living of Sheldon part. Nice staff like Shala. Nice environment , nice people, nice club house and work out place and top of it is swimming pool."
