Northtowne Apartments

"My husband, my toddler and I recently moved from Houston, Texas and moved into probably one of the worst apartments I’ve ever seen in my life down the street, Bent Tree Townhomes. We were able to have the lease broken due to not only the conditions of the property but also the lack of care the management had to fix them. We originally were going to move into northtowne but these other people called us first, boy what a mistake! Northetowne apartments are not only quiet but they are definitely a luxury complex compared to where we unfortunately started here in Ohio. Megan has been so patient, kind and helpful with this whole process even though I literally have been losing my mind! She also was very upfront about all leasing information and fees as well, unlike other places we applied, like Hunters chase in miamisburg. We are so thankful for this community and the opportunity to become a resident here. Highly recommend coming here before any of the other dumps around this area, especially if you are unfamiliar with the Dayton, oh and surrounding cities."

"I had the pleasure of calling this apartment community my home for nearly two years, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I moved in, the office staff proved to be friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or concerns. Their responsiveness and dedication made living here a breeze. Maintenance services exceeded my expectations. The process of submitting a ticket online was hassle-free, and the turnaround time for repairs was astonishingly fast, often completed within a day. This prompt attention to maintenance contributed to an stress-free living environment. The amenities offered within this community are truly outstanding. Having a personal garage, private entrance, and front porch added an extra layer of comfort and convenience to my living space. These features provided a sense of privacy and a delightful outdoor space to enjoy. Safety and tranquility were paramount within the community. The property was consistently well-maintained, with a clean and beautifully landscaped environment. This attention to detail enhanced the overall living experience, creating a serene and pleasant atmosphere. While it is common to expect move-out fees when renting, the charges within this community were transparently communicated in the lease agreement, allowing for no surprises. Admittedly, the rules were a bit strict, but they ultimately contributed to the cleanliness and overall well-being of the community. The management's dedication to maintaining a pleasant environment was evident throughout my stay. Contrary to some other reviews, I never experienced any issues with noise. The walls provided ample sound insulation, ensuring a peaceful living space. It's important to acknowledge that individual experiences may vary, but I can confidently say that my time within this community was mostly undisturbed. Regrettably, the rising cost of rent eventually made it unaffordable for me to continue residing here. However, I would gladly return if my financial circumstances were to change in the future. All of that being said the exceptional quality of living made this community a highly desirable place to call home, and I would love to live here again in the future."

"Not worth the money. They nickle and dime you for everything when you move out. When you’ve lived somewhere 3-4yrs and paid well over $40k in leases it’s expected to have wear and tear on the cheap carpet they install and there’s always painting that needs to be done in a rental. I think it’s pretty pathetic when they charge you for all of this to avoid giving back a deposit. I’m an extremely clean and neat person. I took pictures and videos prior to leaving my place so I have my proof. I guess we will have a day in court. Do not rent from here they change management like every 6-months. Took them almost 18-months to fix the lamp post out front and my light over garage ran all day and never worked at night for the same amount of time. Not to mention they hire Dena this past summer which had zero experience in apartment management, zero personality and she also wasn’t very friendly to minorities. Needless to say she lasted about 2-months and either quit or was forced out. Good luck here unless your over 60yrs old and expect to forfeit the deposit and pay more than it cost to move in when you leave."

"This place has good amenities and in-house washer and dryer, which were the only reasons why i stuck to this place. The property manager Dena is uptight and not very friendly. Sometimes, I felt like the color of my skin decides the responses/ friendliness. She recommended a cleaning service for moveout, which I paid for to get the apartment cleaned. Then, she turned around and charged me for carpet replacement quoting "stains" . When i asked them to provide pictures of the carpet that warranted a replacement., she showed me pictures that were taken before the cleaning service came out to clean the apartment. If you are going here for the ammeneties, be sure to forget your security deposit because they will make improvements to the home at your expense for the next tenant to enjoy"
