"Let me start by saying that Ron, the landlord, is a really nice guy. He is quick to come out and take a look at repairs, and after we moved we received our deposit in a timely manner. Our rate was $515 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment with laundry attachments and a decent living space, including water and garbage. That's a pretty great deal! However just be aware what kind of place you are moving to. This is a very old building, and the lower levels are prone to minor flooding during heavy rain periods. It would seep up under the air conditioner vents in the bedrooms. Some windows were cracked, drawers were broken with exposed nails, and the closet doors tend to fall off. The wall air conditioner unit began leaking profusely into the carpet until the landlord drilled holes in the wall for water to leak from. And this place may have mold; not exposed, but the place has a mildew smell in the bedrooms and we had pretty bad allergy symptoms up until moving out."
