"Very comfortable, easy to find. Clean, newly redecorated cottage, and a stack of firewood to enjoy our last evening here. VRBO doublebooked the host, and they graciously put us in another cabin. Close to the lake, state park as well as the neighborhood grocery store, Community Market(?)"

"Had the pleasure of staying at cottage #5 for 3 nights, 4 days. Very peaceful, beautifully decorated, near the lake, and stores nearby for Had a nice patio for grilling, and a campfire for s’mores. However, I have it a 3 star because it wasn’t very clean inside! Full of spiders and webs in both closets. The light fixtures full of dead bugs and the kitchen had an ant problem (bring ant traps)! The cupboards has a musty smell! Lots of dust bunnies coming from under the couches. The bathroom could of used some dusting too-vent! Also, it would of been nice to have extra blankets, a can opener and dish towels. We had to buy some towels to wash/dry dishes and it’s required to have dishes done before leaving! I’m glad it wasn’t cold but to have a few more blankets for someone who wanted to sleep on couch would of been nice! We had a great time and would MAYBE stay again! But we would definitely bring our own cleaning supplies and things listed to make it a better stay!"
"Stayed here from January till May, paid first months rent, last months rent and full security deposit up front along with a $300 electric deposit, paid all other utilities in my name. When all said and done I was owed part of my deposits back and the owner comes up with every excuse in the book to not give my money back. We took real good care of property and left it nicer and cleaner than when we got there. None of doors lock properly, severe water damage throughout house, water is full of iron or lead. Several openings in house covered with rotting plywood and very drafty. Also, there are a family of rodents living in the walls and ceiling. Exterior not very well maintained."
