"I find it funny that this place will only respond to 4 stars or above. I think you need to fix 3 stars and below as well, or are you saying our opinion of your place does not matter to you. I was shocked to see a $500 dog deposit for an apartment to me is absolutely ridiculous I've lived in apartments all my life and I've never seen a $500 dog deposit that is absolutely crazy I'm glad I seen that before I even filled out an application shame on you if that $500 is not refundable"

You can look this up for yourself, if you are unaware of it. It is considered illegal and unethical for a company or business of any kind to remove HONEST reviews unless they are purposely dishonest, lewd, or discriminatory. That being said, this is an honest review that does not fit the criteria of dishonesty, lewdness, or discrimination, therefore should not be deleted by management (unless they would like to break the CRFA.) I lived here for some time, and I can honestly say out of several apartments/condos/rental houses in northeast Ohio in which I have resided, this is the worst place I have lived. I will tell you the good and bad aspects of living at this complex, and to be fair, I will start with the good. The location is nice- located by many local stores and parks. A lot of people I had met living there were very nice, and maintenance was always great and on top of things despite only having one person to do everything for all buildings. Now, for what gives this place one star. Some units are renovated, others are not. Regardless of renovations, you will likely have to thoroughly scrub every room of your new apartment with various cleaning agents the day you move in. My apartment was covered in dust and dirt upon moving in, which I was initially willing to look past, (considering the units are very small,) until further issues. Besides the majority of wonderful, considerate neighbors I encountered at Lakeway, there was an equal number of belligerent, loud, and inconsiderate people to deal with. Trash was left on the ground outside buildings consistently. I personally witnessed more police calls due to domestic disputes, violence, etc. than I ever have living in 6+ various rental units in Northeast Ohio. Management does not take your concerns into consideration, no matter how politely it is addressed, and you will likely be met with snarky remarks and dismissal, despite paying almost $1,000 per month to reside there. Going back to the CRFA previously mentioned, management offers money off rent payment if they so choose to leave a 5 star review, and all negative reviews I have personally viewed have been deleted despite being honest and respectful. I would not recommend Lakeway Woods to anyone looking for a nice, peaceful community with respectful management."

"I have lived in Lakeway Woods for over a year and half now, I absolutely love it. The staff is amazing, super friendly and very helpful. The grounds are always clean. Communicate on when things are happening is amazing and as a single mom with 2 small kids, safety is a huge thing for me and I feel very safe here. We have a great little community to come home to everyday."
