"Do not rent from Jill and BG Village. They will steal your money. I was approved by Jill back in April 2023 for a two bedroom. I paid the deposit within a week. Then right before my move in date towards the end of June, Jill told me she had other applicants and was refunding my deposit. I asked her to have the $500'sent to her office after fighting with her many emails and phone calls. She said she insisted it be mailed. I told her I was having problems with my mail delivery. I finally got tired of arguing. Said multiple times to have it mailed to my mom. She promised she would. I waited patiently weeks. I finally received USPS informed delivery and it was sent to my mom's in my name. I didn't receive it because of this. She said I was wrong I forwarded her the email. Then she blamed their own company. Said I needed to call them. I told her I was dealing with her and she should resolve it. She refused and got beligerant again. Now I am stuck with having to take legal action and losing our financially and stuck in my current place. I was caused emotional distress in all of this . I am a disabled single parent of a disabled child"

"I like my landlord, and the apartment isn't that bad. The thing I hate about this place is my neighbor. Just one neighbor, she is rude and every chance she gets will call the landlord to complain about my roommate and I. She really is making this year go by so slowly. She is the main reason I will not be staying here after my lease is up. She has unplugged my washer while I was using it because "it was too loud" and has complained about smells, incense burning (which we haven't burned), yelled at me for using the garbage bins outside, and has straight out just screamed at me as I was leaving my apartment."
"Stay away! Maintenance is horrible never come out on time and they don't give you back your security deposit even when I had the place in tip top shape. Management is terrible. Washers and dryers in the buildings don't dry your clothes in one cycle so have to go to a laundromat. Overall, please stay away I wish someone would've told me this before!"
