"DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! Food waste in the rooms, Terrible service, we got a room and found garbage behind and inside of all the furniture, we complained and got a new room only to find the exact same issue. They say we cant get a refund until the "manager" shows up tomorrow, Do NOT come here. Youre better off sleeping in your car."

"I see the owner of Norwood posted 3months again stating that they was trying to get the hotel back to its glory!!!!! Fast forward to today && it's worse than ever.. running a sex chain out of there in several different rooms and the owner knows... There is a guy who works in the laundry room who have R word a few of the woman who live there and nothing has been done abt it!!!! I dnt understand why he is there because I never see any clean linen past out to the guest even toilet paper they have to buy their own. Even housekeeping only does the hallways and barely that gets done. They do see if their stay overs need any clean linen or rm needs tending too or anything, never heard or seen them knock on them doors... parking lot smells of urine especially by building C2 and even urine in the emergency staircase by C2.. Needs shut down immediately they already had a homicide up there a few months back and they have mice and roaches in the rooms."

"Sharing my experience because I felt extremely unsafe at this hotel. My girlfriend and I booked a room for last night (admittedly we did not read reviews before booking as it was extremely last minute and an emergency situation, which is very unlike me and after this experience I will not be doing that again.) pulling up the parking lot itself was dimly lit and sketchy. The front desk guy was not rude or anything but the exchange was very strange. We got our room key without a booklet around it telling us of our room number. He said our room number out loud to us, which as a hotel employee myself, I know to be unsafe and is advised against at most places for safety reasons. When we almost get up to our room he yells up to us that we need to come back down to get a new room because that one was actually occupied already. Upon coming back downstairs there’s a man standing at the desk talking to the employee, and the man points up the stairs where we just came from and asked if he could possibly book a room around there for the following night. The employee mumbled something to him and he walked away. The security camera footage was in clear sight so I watched as the man walked down the hall but did not enter a room, he waited there in the hallway seemingly listening to our conversation with the desk clerk. Once again, the employee says our new room number out loud. The man down the hall had still not entered a room. Despite our gut feeling we decided to check out the room, and as many people here have posted there was a strong odor and it very dirty. There was a clump of women’s hair on the doorknob on the way in. On one of the two beds was a painting in a frame, that I’m assuming was supposed to be hung up on the wall but was not, and screws on top of it. We immediately felt strange and decided to take the loss on the money and leave. On the way out, the desk clerk asked us what was wrong but we stated that we were just going to our car to get some things, and left. I am someone who stays in a lot of hotels, in a ton of different price points, and have never had an experience like this. I know most of the time you get what you’re paying for. That being said I think you’d be better off at another value hotel in a safer location. I’m also aware this could have been avoided had we looked into reviews more, and it’s possible that it was just a gut feeling telling us to leave, but after reading some of these comments it seems that others have had similar experiences."

"My room is very dirty! No towels looked like they never even cleaned it! The dirt is everywhere..sheets and cover looked like it had been used previously. The pillows were just as bad. There were ants all over my bathroom floor. I told the girl at the front desk about everything she showed concern but did nothing about it. They make the front of the hotel clean and nice but my room was terrible. I will be getting a hold of the BBB."

"The front desk guy was very friendly and helpful through all our troubles, when we got into our room we have towels and all cleaning products. It was very good inside and out, but there was a guy who did an amazing job cleaning all very nice.. There were good condition of all our bed and pillows, the smell was so good and our beds were nice to sleep. It was peace all night.. Other than that it was okay."
