"*DO NOT GET A ROOM AT THIS MOTEL.* This motel is a drug haven. There has been 2 drug raids on this motel this past year arresting numerous people. The owner “claims” there are not any drugs in his establishment but the drug task force proved that was a lie over and over. What makes it even worse is this motel is less than 50 feet from an elementary school. The most recent drug bust took place November 16, 2023. All drug busts from that location by date this year. 05 October 2023 16 November 2023 If there’s drugs coming and going from this establishment then there’s most likely bed bugs as well."

"I have stayed for a couple months getting back on my feet. Very clean compared to what I was told it was like in the past. The manager, Debbie, works very hard, daylight to dark. I've seen her shoveling snow as I went to work, sweeping sidewalks, in and out of rooms cleaning them, she is always cleaning and always busy. She is very friendly and helpful The only drawback was some of the tenants in the back rooms. A few of them always had the police at their rooms. Generally pretty quiet except when the "maintenance guy" is there. Maintenance is horrid and extremely disrespectful. 7 hours across 2 different days right outside my door attempting to install an exit sign. Having done building maintenance in the past you always check with and let tenants know when you’ll be making a lot of noise, especially right outside their door. Plus an exit sign does NOT much effort or time to install. Even when you have to run new power it's 3 hours tops. Then he had the gall to make a comment that he didn't care that I had to work that night. I'm going to assume the maintenance guy and owner must be friends because anywhere else this would not be allowed. Being rude and disrespectful to customers should be the only strike you get. Mr. Elam if you read these make sure you keep Debbie around and have a long talk with or get rid of your maintenance guy. He is costing you more money than he's worth."

"The manager of this Motel is the nicest & sweetest person I've ever meet!! Her name is Debbie Strong & she has brought this motel out of the Dumps, the Manager before her was Awful, Mean, Disrespectful & Very Very Lazy!!!! So this is to the Owner of The Colonial Motel, and his Name is Danny Elam- Debbie Strong is by far the best Manager that Motel has ever seen!!!! At this very moment that Motel is as Clean as it ever has been and ever will be because of Debbie Strong!!!"

"Around June of 2020 the Manager Debbie Strong came back to perform her duties and thank God she did because she really saved that Colonial Motel from being shut down due to It not EVER BEING CLEANED FROM THE PREVIOUS MANAGER!! You could really see the Energy & the Cleanliness of the place go up 99% when Debbie came back!!"
