Improv Cincinnati at Clifton Comedy Theatre is a comedy club and acting academy located at 404 Ludlow Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our mission is to lift spirits and inspire personal growth through laughter and creativity. Our 7-week classes are a fun way to make new friends, cultivate a happier lifestyle, and become a more confident and creative person. Whether you're looking to dip your toes in the water with an intro workshop or dive right into our variety of comedy styles and formats, we have something for everyone. From long-form improv to stand-up comedy and scripted holiday shows, there's always something entertaining happening at our cozy subterranean black box theatre in the heart of Clifton's gaslight district. Join us for shows every Friday and Saturday and experience the joy of laughter and community at Improv Cincinnati.

"When I signed up for Improv 101 through Improv Cincinnati, I knew it was going to be a fun time; however, I never would have imagined I'd stick through all the way through 401 and beyond! "I simply can’t rave enough about Improv Cincinnati. Always wanted to do Improv, but thought I didn’t have the guts. First class I took? Nearly everyone said the same thing! And did it anyway. “We’ve got your back” is their motto—although I’m not as witty as my teammates. not once did I feel judged or “less than.” Improv is all about “living in the moment.” (I’m pretty good at that. And this taught me to be even better.) Improv has taught me so much—and by being vulnerable and laughing together, words can’t express the bond created. If interested, go for it! The shows are great, too. Every weekend—check the schedules."
"Great fun! A real treat to go see our friend perform after their Improv Classes. They said "Improv changes your relationship to fear". They also have performances by actual improv actors. The theater is small and up close, so you are almost a part of the action!"
