"I have been a client or perhaps it is better to say patient of Dr. Peter Wills for approximately 30 years. Howerver this past Thursday, I encountered an unpleasant situation with his so called "office manager." I was asked by the receptionist to fill out a medical form. I have never had to do this in their office before so I presume it is something new that the state requires. I came to the section that wanted to know what medications I was taking. I don't carry a list but would have provided same had they told me ahead that I would need it. I had called once to ask the time of my appoint to be certain I had it correctly recorded on my appointment calender. No mention of a new form was suggested to me. A week later, they called reminding me of the appointment. Again no mention was made regarding a need for me to provide them with a medication list. I arrived for my appointment, and the receptionis gave me a clip board with the form attached. When I told her I didn't recall the names of the medication she said they couldn't treat me without it. And so I said well how about we just say none. That wasn't satisfactory, and she said she would have to get the "office manager." The office manager insisted as well. And I told her I could not provide what I didn't have. I could recall only a blood thinner I was taking due to hip surgery. She then told me I was taking an antibiotic. I am not taking an antibiotic. I did not have a hip replacement. The surgeon repaird the fracture and, thus, I did not need an antibiotic. Apparently the "office manager" isn't all that familiar with that kind of surgery. Things escalated with the "office manager insisting on a list of medication and me responding I couldn't give it to them at that time. She again stated they couldn't treat me. I said I would just have to go home then. She then asserted I was losing money for Norma, my hygenist. I don't see how that got pinned on my plate since the "office manager" was the one who insisted they couldn't treat me without the list. So at that point I left, very angry indeed and asked them to tell Norma I wouldn't be back that day. When I got home I looked up my list of medication, called the office ready to give it to them and make a new appointment for a cleaning. At that time I was informed that they had dropped me. Literally, dropped me as a patient. I must wonder if said "office manager" was even aware of the years I have come to that office. I have no use for this woman at this point and have made an appointment with another dentist's office. Oh and by the new office told me that I should bring a list of medication with me when I came in. Now isn't that simple. I will miss Norma whom I like very much. And I will miss Dr. Wills. So please do not take this review as any kind of negatvie feedback regarding them. I consider the whole thing utter stupidity on the presentation offered me by the "Office Manager." If you wonder why I keep putting that in quotes, it is because she did not once while we spoke introduce herself. It wouldn't surprise me if she didn't delete this review. Maybe she can't. But if it disappears, I will simply post it again since I have a copy."
