"I took my son to Dr. Leopold for years. I thought that a pediatric dentist was the way to go. He had lots of dental work done by her over the years. When he got a cavity in a permanent tooth, Dr. Leopold told me that I needed to take him to a general dentist. I took him to my dentist, and when the work was finished, my son was overjoyed at how wonderful my dentist was. Then he started to spill the beans about how mean Dr. Leopold had been to him and how much she hurt him and wouldn't believe him when he said he wasn't numb yet. I felt so bad that he had been through that, but since they don't let parents go back with their child, I had no idea what was going on. If I were to do it over again, I would have insisted on going back with him."

"Horrible service!!!!! No one answers the phone, no one returns a phone call, no appointments available. They are open for Very limited hours and limited days. They can never get you in. Hire some help!!!!!!! I would’ve given a zero if that was an option"

"The only reason i am giving them 2 stars is because there place is clean they let your kid watch tv if they get a cavity filled or other dental work, DR.Leopold was also nice. I went to this from age 9-16 and my experience was not good, first off they do not take the parent (or the kid) serious, they did not give a choice of flavor of toothpaste, and would always use mint and with me (after both me and my mom telling them every time i was there before the cleaning not too) who has a sensitivity to mint this was not good, another thing was that i had dental work done there my cavities for the most part went well, but when i had to get 3 cavities and a cap put on, it did no go well at all, in fact it was very bad. The laughing gas did not work on me (which isn't necessary there fault) but the numbing stuff also did not work, I personally believe that they did not do a numbing injection, and i have reasons to think that) I felt every cut, and pull with that cap and was screaming and crying in pain, and the only thing they did was give me a pillow and nothing else.(i was not sedated) (still believe it was not right and would sue if i could.) and thanks to that time i have bad anxiety from the dental work that i have to live with everyday) when i was 13 i also had gingivitis and one of the nurses yelled at me for it, it was very unprofessional and rude and not her place to do that) Overall i would not recommend this place to anyone !!!! if i had kids my self i would also not take them there, but i do recommend lima dental associates, very nice people, great kid program (and give you flavor choice of toothpaste) and take the parent and the kid serious. overall i would recommend lima dental associates!!"
