"If you value your time, energy and peace of mind - DO NOT GO HERE! Make the short drive over to Discount Tire instead. Hear me out....I had purchased tires and set up a date/time for installation a week ahead on BJs website. A day before my appointment, BJs sent me an email confirming my appointment. I get there the next day at my appointment time and Sam was at the front desk. He told me that he had to go check to see if my tires was in. I was immediately annoyed because why wouldn't the shop check that my tires was in BEFORE my appointment date/time instead of waiting for the customer to get there and check at that time?? It makes literally no sense whatsoever. As it turns out, my tires wasn't available. I repeat, BJs confirmed my appointment the day before and made no mention that my tires was unavailable. I had to drive all the way out here to find this out. Of course I was then offered tires that would cost me another $150..oh and only 3 tires was there, I would have to order the 4th and come on a different day to have that one installed. It's a ripoff and they don't believe in giving you any discount for the incovenience! I honestly believe they offer those "free installation, buy 3 get 1 free" deals just to get you to their tire center only to tell you that they don't have the tires and you'll have to pay more for other ones. The fun doesn't end there, when I went inside the club to get a refund it was like rocket science - the customer service reps had no idea what they were doing and even said "tire refunds are never easy." After that total fiasco, I headed to Discount Tire a few miles away. The tires I needed was at another one of their locations, but they were able to get all four of them delivered in about 2 hours. Then it was about another half hour for them to get the tires installed. The customer service was impeccable, they let me know exactly what to expect and assured me that the tires would be installed same day. They even give you a link to track the progress of your tire installation. I got there early and actually watched as two young men worked quickly to get my tires installed. There were at least 5 other techs there in the shop and they were all hustling and working hard getting cars in and out. The reps at the counter were awesome. Yes, I paid about what BJs was going to upcharge me, but for the customer service, tracking link, quality tires and protection plan - it was all worth it. I found a new favorite in Discount Tires - I would NEVER return to BJs again!"

Charlie took the time to look at all my tires, caught two mistakes by other tire shops, and had my tire replaced within 30 minutes. I definitely would recommend BJ's Tire Center in Avon. "The employees are hardworking and knowledgeable people but they are way understaffed. The same person that was replacing my tires had to answer the phone and deal with the walk ins and others that had appointments. What should have been an hour wait turned into 3 hours."
