"Do NOT use this title agency. They are either incompetent or downright fraudulent. They handled the purchase of my home in December 2020. A couple of days before closing, they contacted me to say they needed money for six months of property taxes. I could already see, on the document prepared by the lender, that I was paying a year of property taxes in advance (I did not opt for escrow). But, since I did not want to delay the closing, I paid. Nearly 16 months later, I receive a check from Diamond for about $1,200. No apology; just a note scribbled on the check saying "taxes already paid." If that wasn't bad enough, I was in my house for a whole month when the homeowner's insurance company contacted me to say the premium had not been paid. I know I had paid for a whole year at closing, so I contacted Diamond to see what was up. They said they had mailed a check, and that I would have to call the insurance company and arrange to pay again by credit card. I told them it's the responsibility of the title company to get funds securely from Point A to Point B, but they refused to cover it. When I called the insurance company, they agreed to wait a few more days to see if the check arrived, before canceling the policy. Again, no apology from Diamond and they refused to take any responsibility. Shameful. I have written a letter to Diamond informing them of the interest they owe me for the $1,200 they kept for 16 months due to their own error. Have not heard a thing."

"Real estate closings can be many things - but have never had the INCREDIBLE PROFESSIONALISM, attention to detail, follow up and follow through to quickly processed as did DIAMOND TITLE did the closing of my home sale. The staff used phone calls and emails to exchange information with me. When needing to sign documents they offered to come to me or visit their office. In visiting their offices I was pleasantly surprised to see how handicapped accessible the parking, entrance and office space were laid out. I highly recommend them."

Having just finished dealing with a horrid closing due to a completely incompetent title company in another state, I was amazed at how kind, competent, and communicative Amy was. Amy called me and explained who she was and what was in progress to get the closing to occur on time. Because I had already moved out of the state, this was a long distance close.
