"I truest wish I could give dann law a full 5 stars but they get 4 of 5 from me. They were able to get PayPal moving on a settlement but it resulted in PayPal closing my account which in my opinion is not full justice. I was a fraud victim. At least they got me a bigger settlement than was owed to me from PayPal. I feel that they could have done much more though."

"At first Dan Law aggressively took my case. I gave them all the paper work they requested. It took them about 10 months with no action and vague updates just to tell me that they can not take my case. When they finally told me like it was my fault. Blame me for not sending documentation which I can see I clearly did. I would not recommend this company."

"I spoke to Brian some months back. While on the phone he told me I might have a case. He said he was willing to look at my documents. He told me his retainer, I agreed to pay it. He told me that it's going to take time and dedication, I told him I'm ready because I was wronged and it costs me thousands. He then told me is not willing to take my case because the time he would spend fighting isn't worth it. And he decided not to look at my documents."

"It is the old adage "you get what you pay for" and in this case "pay" is the key word. I assume because they were hired on contingency, I felt getting a settlement and deducting their fees was the main priority, not the client. Overall, I felt the representation was adequate, but I had to keep pushing that we go to court until we get what we want. Finally, just days before the trial, the mortgage company came to us with a proposal close to what I wanted. I would have left the review at 4 stars if this was my only issue with the firm. The reason I have decided on two stars was I felt that as soon as Dann Law was paid, they dropped me like a hot potato. I was told when I agreed to the settlement that Dann Law would help me negotiate my payoff amount to the mortgage company after the settlement was complete to try and bring the amount of the payoff down to what I had left after Dann Law took their fees. That is not what happened. Once Dann Law was paid, they requested a standard payoff quote and I got an email saying I could contact the mortgage company myself and try to negotiate a lower payoff, but Dann Law was closing my case. They immediately filed documents withdrawing from my case. I understand that law firms are about all billable hours and making money, but at least do what you say will do. EDIT: I have added a third star to the review based on the fact that the owner reached out to me to better understand why I was not pleased. Although I still feel like I got dropped once the fees were paid, it does say a lot that Marc Dann takes time to understand why clients are not 100% satisfied. Thank you"

"DAVID vs GOLIATH If you are familiar with the David vs Goliath story then you understand The Dann Law Firm. They will fight and win against the “Goliath” corporations, banks, mortgage lenders, etc… These large entities have endless amounts of funds and resources to defend against their wrongdoing. This may be intimidating for some law firms but not The Dann Law Firm. They have the faith and confidence in their expertise that actually makes them the intimidating force against the Goliaths. I talked to several different law firms before going with The Dann Law Firm. I chose them for several reasons. Some of those reasons include: Honesty - The lawyers and staff were always honest with me regarding my case. Even during the times that it was something I did not want to hear, they gave me their expert and honest opinion. In the end they were right and I always appreciated their honesty. Passion - They are the most passionate group of professionals for protecting consumers and their clients. Integrity - This is hard to explain. Everything they did was done with integrity. They have the strongest desire to help their clients. Empathy - Unfortunately, there is an unfair “stigma” for people facing foreclosure or have been victimized by a large corporation. I did not want a firm that felt sorry for me (sympathy), I wanted a firm that was empathic to my situation. They were compassionate and understanding. For my specific case against my mortgage lender, The Dann Law Firm made possible what seemed impossible. They are the consumers “guardian angel”. Simply put, the lawyers and staff at The Dann Law Firm are the best of the best."
