"What a horror story! Booked his services weeks in advance, paid a deposit. He was scheduled and confirmed to start on 9/25. No communication and never showed up, unresponsive to messages, finally got a reply they may drop off materials but would not start work until Monday. Never came. Monday rolls around, again repeat the back-and-forth with time frames that he may show up, never showed, continuously stated he was on the way in (insert time frame) but then never came. He had no respect or concern for what our schedule was, finally said he would start work at 4 AM Tuesday, so we made sure we were at the property early, never showed up never communicated until halfway through the day, and when he finally did show up he had two children with him. This was disrespectful to our home, with no consideration for the liability or damage his children could cause our things. He did not stay very long because the children were not behaving and were a distraction while my partner was also trying to work. Throughout the evening there was constant back-and-forth of whether or not he was coming back. Finally, well into the evening he shows up to begin work and says that they will work through the night. Unbeknownst to us, he left his worker in our home unsupervised after he left at a certain point. Never told us he would not be at the property, simply sent a text saying “we are leaving” acting as though he was there the whole time. He stated he would be back the next morning, no communication never showed up. We went to his business address to make sure that everything was OK, noted a potential he dangerous situation for other people and had to make a 911 phone call. Apparently Garrett was asleep. Once he woke up, he called with more Promises of completing the job, then his phone shut off, his voicemail box was full and there was no communication for well over 24 hours. I have never in my life had an experience like this. Stay far away from the contractor."
