"I filed with nicest lady there she was helpful and also didn't charge me alot in fees the only thing I don't like is the emerald card they don't release anything early even if the IRS already has sent your money to the account I changed my review to a 1 star because I called the emerald card and I told them I know they have my funds in there account and the lady on the phone said we are aloud to hold funds up to 7 days before releasing them next year I will use TurboTax instead of H&R block it's illegal to hold onto to people's funds I ready told the IRS what they said and emerald card will be getting on trouble"

"Joyce who did my taxes was wonderful. Friendly, thorough, stayed on task, and quick. Loreda who checked me in was very rude the two times I've been in there recently. She was ignoring the customers in line and took 20-25 minutes to even look up from her desk to help us. She then had the nerve to tell (where we customers could hear it) a tax preparer that several of us were late after she had finally checked us in. We were "late" because she was shuffling papers in her desk drawer for 20 damn minutes. If she had checked us in in a timely fashion she would've realized we were in fact on time. I've used H&R Block for years and never had a bit of trouble until this Loreda."

"My tax preparer was Amy Hart, she was amazing! However, I was overcharged and still haven't been refunded my money. It has been nearly 6 weeks. When I called to inquire about it, I was( rudely) told that it hadn't even been 8 weeks and she didn't know why I was calling. Management is very unprofessional. This was the the Dayton Yellow Springs road location in Fairborn, OH; by Kroger."

"Took them 5 hours to figure out my return. They complained that it was because I was military and it was very complicated. I bought my first house here, have a tdameritrade account and had a kid last year. Not complicated. At the end of the marathon they tried to charge me $400. Walked out. You can find better value elsewhere for your time and money"

"I was already thinking about making an appointment. Fortunately, I received a call from the Fairborn office offering to set up an appointment that was convenient for me. I received a packet in the mail that made it very easy to collect all of the information I needed and was able to arrive fully prepared. My tax preparer, Donna Tessneer, was available and as in the past, was very professional, efficient, and friendly. The entire experience was easy and surprisingly short."
