"The traditional notary class does not prepare for the exam. Then trying to retake the exam was a nightmare. I finally just found another company. I know I am out $130.00 I paid for the class but it was worth it to go to a different company. Would not recommend!!!"

"This ron training is just not good, and found it strange that an entire hour of it is a sales pitch for an online notary software company. I've also emailed and called this company many times to get an answer to a simple question and no one answers."

"Their RON training was horrible. While I passed the test, I recommend they either revamp the training or allow Ohio to offer more vendors. The class is broken down into two parts; each one hour. The first hour is of the trainer, the Executive Director of Ohio Notary Services, reading from the Ohio Revised code, word-for-word. Not only is it boring but the student receives no value from it. It doesn't provide any instruction on how to do a Remote Online Notarization. The second hour is the Executive Director interviewing someone from SignX, one of the online platforms. It's a sales pitch that "implies" to many of the students that there is a partnership between SignX and the State of Ohio. This implication is bad in many ways. First, there are many platforms in which to choose and second, it doesn't teach the student how to evaluate and select which platform is best for them. In fact, many RONs who sign up with SignX end up in long-term contracts of 3 years without realizing it. This class in no way prepares the student to become a RON and I intend to draft a complaint with the Ohio Secretary of State to offer more training opportunities to Ohio Notaries who wish to become Remote Online Notaries. We deserve better!"

"I loved the Tradtional Notary class but the RON training is not up to par and barely prepares you for the exam directly at the end. The training is 2 hours long but only an hour of instruction and the second hour is a sales pitch which I thought was a bit unprofessional. Please update the RON training so it better prepares you for the exam."
