"We had a tile shower installed while building a house and noticed that it was leaking and causing damage to the walls and flooring. We reached out and it took them months to come out and look at it. They did quick fix that didn’t solve the issue. There were a number of issues with the installation, the grout was soft and crumbling, caulk wasn’t done in the right locations, water proofing wasn’t done correctly, etc. The owner (Mike Guhde) eventually came out and we were hoping he would resolve the issue. But he didn’t see a problem with the installation and suggested another quick fix. We talked to our neighbors who also had tile showers installed and they were experiencing similar issues with leaks and damaged base boards. We decided it was best to have them remove the tile completely and we went with a different shower."
