"My father suggested Richard's when my transmission was debilitated by running over something. I was never disappointed. I was called with every minor update and he was so patient with me when my insurance adjuster failed to do his job and I had to call daily. This shop is excellent and flexible and I cannot praise them enough for all they did. It took a month to get my vehicle back but it wasn't due to them but an incompetent adjuster and the staff spent all their time working with the insurance to ensure my car left in top shape. I will certainly return if I ever need to and recommend them to anyone. Transmission work isn't cheap and don't expect it to be. Per previous reviews degrading the shop because of that, you get what you pay for here and that is all that matters."

"I ended up at Richard's when I was already tearing my hair out about a weird noise that nobody could figure out on my F150. They stuck with it and finally figured out that it was the actuator, whatever that is. I mean it's a round piece of metal that looks like every other round piece of metal. Richard's has a free diagnostic which is nice on a good day but on a bad day, which is what I was having every day with this thing, a free diagnostic is really lifesaving. I was at the point of despair when I came to this garage and the only reason I ended up there was I had been told that the noise might be the transfer case and nobody wanted to deal with it. I asked my friend if he knew anybody who did transmission work and he told me about Richard's but they do everything, not just transmissions. Turns out the noise had nothing to do with the transmission. But it's nice to take your car somewhere where even if something goes wrong with the transmission it's not the end of the world. I didn't think there were any honest mechanics left in the world. This place is not only hands down the best mechanic ever, but it's one of the best businesses in the area in terms of honesty, courtesy, attention to detail, and perseverance."

"We can't say enough "GOOD" things about Richard's Garage Inc. We had them put new struts on our 2012 Nissan. We can't believe the great ride we have now. Plus, they gave us such a good price. They beat four or five other repair shops by $200-$400. Richard's knows what they are doing and they are "HONEST". What a refreshing experience. They were able to save on parts & passed the savings on to us. Unbelievable! They could have kept that money for themselves, but they gave us the blessing! They even showed us the old struts that they removed. They are a "FIVE STAR" business. We are going to make them our auto repair shop from now on. "This place is excellent! Honest, Fair, and Efficient!! Was having some transmission slipping and thought I needed to have my transmission serviced. I scheduled that, but then they discussed with me in person that the issue was actually just a minor electrical sensor malfunctioning. They fixed that and topped off my coolant for me in about an hour and a very reasonable price! There is a reason this place has been around for as long as it has! My dad uses them, his dad used them, and now I will continue to use them! Thanks!!!"
