"I was going out of town and decided to get a tune-ups to assure my car was prepped for the long drive. I paid $150 or so for just my sparkplugs to be changed. My service here has always been great but now I wonder...After being dissatisfied I was asked by the very nice man "What did you think a tune-ups was?" Not this. Isn't this a tune-up? A car tune-up is typically a suite of preventive maintenance services performed on a vehicle to ensure it continues to perform well. A tune-up normally includes replacing several important wear-and-tear parts, like the air filter, fuel filter, oxygen sensor, positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve, and spark plug wires. What do you get with your tune-up and where? Well I only got the sparkplugs."
"I’ve taken multiple cars (Honda, Nissan) to Mike for a few years now. He may not be the cheapest but he’s far from the most expensive. Take it to Mike and he’ll get it right the first time not the 5th time, rather than the dealer fixing incorrect things and overcharging. He’s done my front and rear struts, ac compressor, serpentine belt, front and rear wheel bearings and brakes, all fixed the first time and done correctly!"
