"We had Transmission Engine Pros look at the transmission on our Subaru Outback. Todd was very helpful and suggested we try a few smaller repairs ourselves to see if the problem might not be the transmission, which would be a very costly repair. He was upfront about the cost of a replacement CVT transmission and explained that the high repair cost was due to replacement part costs being very high. In the end, he suggested we not do the repair as he felt the car was not worth the expense. I would recommend Transmission Pros. "I just looked them up online called them they got me in two days. Had it for 5 hours call me and told me it was low on oil due to a cover leak. It's a Hyundai and has no dipstick so you can't tell oil level. They filled it up and said they will order the part and call me in a week or so when it comes in so in the meantime the leak is very slight I can use the car until then. But when I went to pick it up for all the work and that car has undercover plates that need to come off and to fill it you have to remove the air intake housing and shrouds. They would not take a dime and that they would settle up when I come back to have the cover replaced. In today's world who does that , I have been taken by repair shops over the past 50 years and this was the best place I have ever been to. I was told they were good but this was fantastic. The car is my daughter's and she was so happy it was not a bad transmission. I would recommend Todd to anyone. They also do other car repair work not just transmission work."
