"Repaired transmission. They had the vehicle for nearly a month. One week later, still had issues. They then had the vehicle for three weeks. ALWAYS had to call to check in. They NEVER did. "It'll be ready tomorrow..." everyday WE called. STILL having issues currently. After 4k+ bill, it should be running perfectly. IT STILL STUTTERS. We also had to ask for our paperwork back after the second "fix." NO communication unless it's a response to a poor review. They may have ruined our vehicle. Edit: They had to complete the final transmission fix at their BEAVERCREEK location! We appreciated the rental for a week, but we were dealing with this for FOUR MONTHS. A battery doesn't cause a vehicle to stutter!"

"My son had an alternator completed at Brownies. About six months into the replacement the new alternator went out again. They replaced it again at no cost as it had a warranty. Fast forward three months later the alternator went out again. They looked at it and had no record of replacing it the second time according to Dan (manager). Through conversation trying to rectify the situation Dan said, “I don’t care if you take it somewhere else we specialize in transmissions.” Don’t take something on if you don’t want to do it. To top it off my son went to pick the car up to take it somewhere else and they had an attitude and threw the keys at him. Don’t go here for anytime especially if it doesn’t involve a transmission. I don’t need a debatable response like all the other negative reviews you do. Just putting this out for others to be made aware ."

"I was broke and so was my clutch. After calling a few people and places, I was realizing I likely couldn’t afford the repair. I called Brownies even though I had never used their shop before and kind of assumed they would be too expensive also. I was in an extremely negative mood and not expecting much but the owner (i think his name is Dan? Sorry if that’s wrong! Been meaning to review them for months. Better late than never.) really worked with me to save my car! The repair cost was high for me but most any other place would have just wished me luck and gone on to the next thing. It took me a long time to pay for the repair but he advised me to get the work done and made a way. He was patient, good natured, up-front, honest, reasonable and kept me informed. All the employees I interacted with were kind people and they did great work. I will most definitely call them anytime my car needs help."
