"To the poor review that was left that wasn't truthful I would like to put the actual truth. Never has VHC staff ever, in over 20 years of business , left a client that requires 24 hour assistance or not showed up . When I met the client she was alone with a person who cleans her home and I was there for almost 2 hours . The truth is said staff stayed over 15 minutes the first day never left early(also wasn't charged the 15 min over) Yes , staff was late the 2nd day , she was notified by me via text and she answered my text as I let her know the staff was on the way . Staff was 25 minutes late but not because she decided to sleep in . She is in nursing school, works and raising 2 children while her husband is in the Navy . While the clients husband and son was there , the insurance called and she was told to answer the call (per the client) as she was going to tell them she would need to call them back. It is unfortunate that a false review was put up . I am very disappointed in this client because if she had given us a chance she would be satisfied. And as for the refund . Literally, I would owe her 10 minutes. This is the truth of that situation."

"I’m sorry to say my experience with Vicki Johnson’s Home Health Care was horrible. I ran into numerous problems after only two visits! The first scheduled visit, my caregiver left an hour before the scheduled time that was prearranged, leaving me in a wheelchair without anyone to take care of me. The second visit, my caregiver was 40 minutes late. Sadly, she did not even call to let me know she was going to be late. Her explanation for her tardiness was that she felt like sleeping in. She also stopped to get a Red Bull and snacks on her way to my home even though she was already running late. I found this extremely unprofessional. To top it all off, my supposed caregiver spent the entire time talking on her cell phone instead of taking care of me. Needless to say, we canceled our future appointments with Vicki’s Home Healthcare after these first two terrible experiences. The sad thing is Vicki had a chance to make it right. We are very understanding and easy-going people. Perhaps if Vicki had offered a refund for the time that we were owed or suggested a different caregiver - who may have been a better fit for our situation - we would have given Vicki‘s company a second chance ? Unfortunately, I would not recommend Vicki’s Home Healthcare to anyone."
