"Took car to Mike's on a referral from a friend. They replaced my compressor and told me to bring it back in spring so they cold replace the hose and recharge the refrigerant on my a/c. Spring came, called Mike's and was told they would call back. Tried several other times with no answer. Had my friend try to make contact to no avail. So, it's now mid-July and I had to give up and take the vehicle to someone else. Just got the call that the compressor that Mike's put on is bad, and now I am looking at a $1200 repair bill and I am out the $200 that I paid Mike's for the bad compressor. My guess is that Mike's knew it was bad and that was why they wanted to finish the job in spring. They didn't get another vehicle in with a compressor that will fit mine, and this is why they won't even give a callback. If my vehicle broke down in Mike's driveway, I would have my vehicle towed to another mechanic at any cost. Proceed with caution is the only advice I can give on doing any business with this place."
