"Mike Seward provides full service home maintenance and improvements. Early on, work was well done, but after a while, he seemed to feel he wasn’t being paid enough for a job he priced himself. After that, work was rushed with occasional mis measurements so that there were a few gaps between baseboards and flooring, and walls did not always get evenly painted, and the like. Not huge problems, but not top quality anymore. Later estimates were too high for me to afford, so have not hired him since. I imagine that when a higher price is charged for jobs, the work will be well done. 8 years ago: He has done our landscape maintenance and our yard is one of the best in our neighborhood! He also has done a big job painting exterior and interior areas. He knew which primers to use, recommended best materials, and repaired a crack in a wall to our satisfaction, as well as re-framing a window that had been water damaged. He also installed a large bathroom cabinet, making sure it was safely mounted in the studs. I couldn't be more pleased with his work. Mike is personable and professional, and I feel comfortable having him work in my home. I have no doubt that the work he does will be of good quality and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him! There was an earlier review slamming him, but I think it is bogus! Mike is very capable and knowledgeable, and I trust him to do quality work!"

"I have used Mike Seward and Seward Home Services LLC on a number of projects for my 50+ year old home. These projects include: a new roof, a new gutter system including leaf guards, new chimney, siding for the gables of my house, repainting and repairing my screened in porch, and installing a new front door lock. Mike is patient when I ask a lot of questions, and provides detailed explanations about the work that will be done. He always returns my phone calls and emails/texts in a timely manner. "Over Christmas while we were visiting family a fitting froze and broke under the dish washer, resulting in a four day flood while we were gone. We already had Mike under contract to do a bathroom, and so when we called, he walked us (really Jan) through the renovation process of what needed to be done in a very calm and soothing manner. He gutted the old ruined kitchen, and installed new everything, cooridinating seamlessly with the plumber (Bartow) and the electrician (Tobias). He took the time to discuss with Jan what was going to happen next, and what he needed her to decide, plus excellent recommendations of where to go for the products, and his experience with the various manufacturers of the various items. To top it off, the work was excellent quality, and he is very particular about the finished product. We'd recommend him highly."

"Mike did a ton of work on a house we had just purchased. The house had good bones but needed a lot of cosmetic updates. Over the course of about a month, Mike and his crew completely redid the floors throughout the entire first floor and smoothed the ceilings everywhere. They also added a doorway to close off a bathroom sink in one of the bedrooms. Throughout they were great to work with, always professional, on budget, and on time. We had such a good experience that we asked Mike to redo the kitchen a few months later. We’re extremely happy with the quality of the work—they really pay close attention to the details. He even came in over the Xmas break to supervise the installation of the countertops. Mike and Tyler are absolutely the kind of contractors you can trust to work on your home. They do quality work and make sure that they stay on budget. We still have some more projects down the road and look forward to working with them again!"
