"Hired this company after my basement flooded, and wow what a mistake. Got a bill for almost $9,000. After taking a look at this bill, they charged me for a ton of services that they never did. Charged me for services that I declined. I do not recommend this company at all. If I could give a negative review I would. I don't usually review company's very often, but people need to know about this company."

"I love Restoration 1! We had water leaking in our basement and Joe came out the same day, was very kind and professional, and set up fans to dry up the water right away! He came back out the next day to check everything and make sure the carpet was dry. We have used them in the past, and they always do great work!!"

"After our first honest, yet unfavorable review of this company and their tactics, I received a phone call from the owner Curtis. I would love to have a transcript of this call, as he told me several times it was being taped. I have requested that it be provided. He called me "a mean person" several times, as well as "a coward behind a keyboard". There were other insults thrown in for good measure. The call ended with him yelling and swearing loudly, before he hung up on me. DO NOT use a business that won't give you a written quote after several requests. I was given a verbal quote of $3000-$5000, to remove flooring and dry a flooded basement. (This quote was confirmed by Curtis when he apologized and said "Mark shouldn't have said that.) Three days in I asked where we stood with the price and was told $7800+. I can't imagine what the bill would have been if I allowed them to stay longer. I asked them to remove their equipment. I paid my bill and filed a BBB complaint asking for a refund of $2800. Vikki Marshall"

"Because I gave previous reviews, that were honest, yet unfavorable, the owner Curtis just called to tell me that I’m a “mean person”. I had asked several times for a price on the work being done in my flooded basement. I was finally quoted $3000-$5000 by their representative Mark. 3 days in I called for an update and was told $7800+, by Mark. Big difference! A few minutes after that Curtis called and acknowledged the initial quote by apologizing for Mark’s error. I paid my bill in full. My reviews are to hopefully, prevent this from happening to others. I also filed a complaint with the BBB asking to be refunded the difference. By the way, the call I received today ended with Curtis yelling at me and hanging up on me."

"This company was awful to deal with. Our home had water damage and needed extensive remediation and restoration. After accepting a large down payment, phone calls were not returned, workers did not show up when we were told they would be there and we were displaced from our home much longer than was necessary. They actually quit the job after a month stating it was too big of a job for them. Restoration One treated us horribly and made a very stressful and expensive situation more stressful and more expensive."
