"Back in November, I had this Party City fill some balloons that I ordered through Amazon. Shane was the guy who helped me. He was a little persnickety, but he did warn me that the balloons might not last. Well, that was Nov 17th. My son's birthday balloons lasted until Dec 2nd. All but 1. It's Dec 9th, and it's still floating! The balloons are Miles Morales (Spiderman)."

"In previous experiences the staff greeted you, asked if they could help, were friendly and helpful. Not so on this visit. There was only one customer being waited on. I stood in line, 2 other male employees behind the counter (total of 3). I wasn't acknowledged. Finally they asked if they could help, they didn't have what I needed (anything green/camo). So, I settled for just balloons. I didn't think of it at the time, just realized today as the balloons sink, they can add something to the balloons to keep them floating longer. They never asked if I wanted it. Today, not even 24 hrs later, only the mylar is floating, the rest heading to the floor. They are in the balloon business! I wish I had remembered about the additive."
"Last year, Party City saved the day for my daughter's birthday by having an unique cake topper (rainbow Beanie Boo poodle) in stock and at a reasonable price This year was an entirely different experience. I looked on the website, saw stock availability with 4 items in store, and anticipated another great experience. Upon getting to the store, I was greeted pleasantly and given directions on where the item was located. After no luck finding what I needed I asked for more assistance with the product location. The next employee who grudgingly helped me appeared to be filling online orders. Both employees mentioned to me that the online inventory does not often match what is physically in the store. Both employees also apologized to me for the inconvenience of coming to the store with no luck of getting what was needed to top last year's cake. I hope Party City resolves their inventory accuracy or I am afraid customers will not rely on submitting online orders or have success with curbside pick up."
