"I love the traditional atmosphere. An old school barber shop. I enjoy hanging out, listening, and soaking in the knowledge of my fellow Tri-State citizens. The University of Kentucky sports atmosphere is prominent. The exchanges can keep you up to date by the minute on our Wildcats. The banter about other local sports programs are welcomed. I can't wait for The Bengals season to begin. National and local politics are discussed with respect. I also had in depth conversation with one stylist who loved science fiction. Other than family. I can't think of many other topics I enjoy more than that are discussed at Iras. I've gone to those national establishments who cut hair. The employees are at work to just collect a paycheck. Iras employees and CUSTOMER'S in depth conversations about family, life, sports, and politics are second to none in our area. The prices are fantastic. I image there are some people who usually don't tip. A trip to Ira's Barber Shop converts an impassive tipper into a willing tipper."
