It’s more about convenience and quality than cost. You can buy lots of fresh ready made dishes and sides as well as raw ingredients."
"My go to spot for all my premium goods - the kinds of things that are worth paying extra for. Prime meat, fancy cheese, fresh baked goods are all worth the price tag here. Their bakery is probably the best in the area in terms of quality and selection of bread, pastries, and sweets. They're premade salads, sandwiches, and sides are always great for an easy meal. Get there early in the day if you want the best of the best. High quality selection of wine and beer as well. While they do have everything you would need to fill your pantry, I would get your staples somewhere cheaper and save DLM for the ingredients you really want to shine. Very curious what they will do with space they are developing next door..."
"My hubby and I decided to stop and check out Dorothy Lane Market. We were both overwhelmed by all the delicious looking foods! Enjoyed a glass of Bill’s Blend red wine, and a pint of Great Lakes Christmas Ale on tap. We found dips, pretzel bites, cheeses etc to take home. We also learned that the meat/seafood department will prepare certain items for you with no charge. It was a fun & friendly experience. I was happy to see so many vegan/vegetarian options. The salad bar looked fresh and stocked too. Highly recommend!"
"DLM is a gourmet grocery store. High end products and plenty for allergies. I love their sushi case. Reasonably priced and beautiful sushi. Better than some restaurants around! They have a pretty impressive cheese and dessert case as well! There is coffee right as you walk in, but I have never stopped there. I go here mostly because of all the gluten free options."
