Take a leisurely stroll along the 1 mile trail with a restored Story Walk, or catch a performance at the amphitheater area. "It was a nice park and the water part of it is made for smaller children as in one two three year olds. It has a skatepark for older kids and the playground itself was good for any age. The bathrooms could be kept up better."
"Great playground for the kids. Multiple activity areas for the little ones and one for the bigger kids. Very well maintained, has a water fountain and clean bathroom facilities. Then when the kids are needing cooled down...walk across the parking area and there is plenty of splash pad for all to get wet on!"
"Great play ground. Sections for younger and bigger kids. Bathrooms that were open. A skate park across the street, and a towpath. There's also a train nearby that you can see/hear for the train loving kids. My 3yo, 6yo and 8yo all enjoyed this playground."
