"Sad but fitting memory for the girl scouts memorialized in Angels Pass. You see, I was 12 when my first puppy love, Connie LaPrise, was killed in the accident along with Mrs. White and her daughter Sharon. The White's were family friends. They left behind two older sons and a father. Connie was going to get "friendship" rings from her father for us to share. At 76 now in 2023, I still frequently remember this event with fondness and profound sadness. Thanks to those who have maintained this memorial and park. I visited this site sometime after the 50th anniversary of the accident in my mid 60's. It had been on my bucket list for years. Take a few minutes to look up the accident and put this memorial and park into context."

"Great parking very nice walking trail / bike trail in the woods the entire walk. The bathrooms are very clean, air conditioned. There is even a room you can rent for a special event. The playground is fun for the kids the picnic area with pavilion is in the shade. Parking lot seems to be a bit small for as popular as this place is"

"This is a nice little park with a pond and many benches. It has a hiking/biking path through it and the main Creekside path besides it. A lot of people park here to get on the Creekside Bike path. The September Art Fest held here is very nice with lots of art, activities for the kids and food trucks."
